OMG! I just stumbled onto this site. I was born in Bukit Besi and have so many memories of the place. The roundabout in the picture is one of the them. Isnt it amazing how mental images of places we grew up in, stays with us for a long long time. I loved growing up there. Loved collecting the rocks that gleamed in the sun, much to my mum's annoyance and loved the train line. I so want to go back and revisit the town. Thanks for your blog and the pics.
