Rhu Hentian Island (Pulau Rhu Hentian)

It's possible that Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Redang, and a few other pulau are too well-known and "overheated" for many people, but Rhu Hentian Island, which is only 15 nautical miles from offshore Kuala Besut, is unknown to the majority of travellers. Indeed, it is a newly found and rapidly rising island in the East Coast tourism industry.

The proximity of Pulau Rhu Hentian to the mainland makes it possible to reach the island via Kuala Besut in a boat in between twenty and thirty minutes. At this time, there are no residents living on the island.

There is no question that this presents potential vacationers with an extra value advantage. Because of this factor, the island's ecological system and its marine life have not been negatively affected in any way.

Even though the tourism sector on Pulau Rhu Hentian is still in its infancy in the country as a whole, some water activities such as swimming, snorkelling, and diving can be arranged for visitors to the island through various travel agencies.

Aside from this, due to the small size of the island, visitors are able to participate in a "get to know you" activity that consists of a two-hour trek that serves as an "orientation."

The Fisheries Association of Kuala Besut is planning to develop this little lovely island by starting with a resort that will be called the Rhu Hentian Resort, according to information that has been received from the state government. When you are making plans for your upcoming vacation, you might be able to incorporate this fresh option into your itinerary by that time.

Because it is so close to the mainland, Rhu Hentian Island is accessible through Kuala Besut for 20 to 30 minutes by boat. The island is not a resident at the moment. This no doubt is an added value advantage for holiday seekers. The ecology system on the island and the marine life remain unspoiled due to this reason
